Hotteok are Korean filled pancakes, crisp outside and chewy inside. Ottogi’s 400 g mix needs no rising time: you make the dough and fry it straight away.

How to cook it

Make the dough and pan-fry 1–2 min per side[1][2]

Dissolve the yeast packet in warm water (use the amount printed on your box).
Add the mix and stir for about 5 minutes, until smooth.
Use the dough straight away. It doesn’t need to rise.
Take a portion of dough, flatten it, put the filling in the middle and seal it.
Fry in a preheated pan over low heat for 1–2 minutes, until the bottom is golden.
Flip, press it flat with a spatula, and fry 1–2 minutes more.
